The Deadpool film may have only been announced last week, but big changes are already in motion for the film. Fox studios have announced that they are reworking the script and that the movie is aiming for a PG-13 rating from the MPAA.
This news comes from a conversation on the podcast, Meet the Movie Press, where host Mark Reilly was quoted as saying, “They figured out, and you guys are all gonna hate this, they figured out how to make it PG-13. And therefore ‘not lose its soul,’ and that’s a quote, of the script so that they can make it.”
The Deadpool movie is scheduled for theatrical release in February 2016.
