The beloved yellow people of the Springfield will soon be coming to Minecraft for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The downloadable pack is scheduled to come out in late February and will include the entire Simpsons family. The pack will also include 19 Springfield Elementary School characters.
Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, said, “We have an active community of more than 14 million die-hard Minecraft fans on Xbox Live enjoying the wide range of downloadable content on Xbox, and they have been clamoring for us to bring Simpsons characters to the game.” He is thrilled to be able to partner with Twentieth Century Fox and Gracie Films and can’t wait to see what the Minecraft community will create.
The download pack will release in late February for $1.99 USD for the Xbox 360 and One and will eventually come to other systems.
