Elder Scrolls Online heads to consoles
by Austin Miller
Bethesda Softworks, the company behind Fallout 3 and Skyrim, announced that the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This will be the first time players can explore the online world of Tamriel with friends on the console. It will include the same features in the PC and Mac version and many more updates, including the Justice and Champion systems.
The console release wasn't the only information Bethesda revealed. It was also announced that the monthly subscription players had to pay will be removed. Starting March 17, the game will only have a one-time purchase fee. If there are players out there who still want to pay a monthly fee, Bethesda will offer ESO Plus that will include exclusive in-game bonuses, crowns (currency for customization and convenience items) and all DLC packs.
Bethesda wants the fans to know they are listening and have made numerous changes to make the game more enjoyable.
Matt Firor, the Game Director of The Elder Scrolls Online states, “Our fans are our biggest inspiration, and we’ve listened to their feedback on the entertainment experience they want.”
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be coming to consoles on June 9 and is currently available on PC and Mac.
