Capcom has announced the release dates for Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the episodic sequel to the 2012’s Resident Evil: Revelations, along with other information. The first episode will be available for download on February 18 of next year.
The entire game will be composed of four separate episodes, each with a different release date. Episode 2 will launch on February 24, episode 3 on March 3, and episode 4 on March 11, all of them downloadable via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live, or Steam.
Each episode will cost $5.99, with a season pass being another option at $25.99. The season pass will also include two bonus episodes and unlock HUNK as a playable character in the returning Raid Mode. A disc-based retail version will also be available for $39.99, which includes everything already included, plus bonus Raid Mode characters, skins, and maps and will be released later in the year.
Capcom recently confirmed two more playable characters. Barry Burton and newcomer Natalia Korda will also have their own story line, alongside Claire Redfield’s and Moria Burton’s. Finally, Capcom released a new cinematic trailer, focusing on Barry.
