Facepunch Studios, the developers behind the sandbox-physics game Garry’s Mod and the survival game Rust announced that they will be developing Before, a prehistoric survival game.
Players will be in charge of a tribe of neanderthals, and tasked with surviving day to day. They will have to hunt, gather food, build shelter, and fight off hostile wildlife while trying to expand their community. As the tribes grow, they will begin to form their own culture and history.
The game has no set launch date, but Facepunch is currently working on releasing a playable alpha in the near future.
Before will release for Windows, Mac, and Linux machines.
