We have decided that it is pointless to publish a review of Halo: The Master Chief Collection until the matchmaking issues have been worked out.
This is due in part to the fact that the only two aspects of the game that are worth reviewing are Halo 2: Anniversary and the matchmaking that is comprised of all four titles.
While the current issues with the matchmaking will have a negative effect on the review, it wouldn't do any good to publish the review until we can actually experience the whole game.
A patch was expected to fix matchmaking issues on Wednesday, but it has been pushed back to "later this week," according to 343 Industries.
Assuming the patch fixes the problems, we will do our best to have a full review out within a few days of its release.
