iPhone 6 Games Coming from Major Developers

Game publishers like EA, Disney Interactive, and Ubisoft will be producing titles for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, says Apple's Phil Schiller at the phone's reveal today.

Schiller said at the conference that a technology in iOS 8 called Metal is what allows game developers to create content for the iPhone. The software gives developers a much deeper access into the phone's hardware.

Other developers we can expect titles from include Epic Games, CD Projekt Red, 505 Games, and Square Enix.

Hopefully this means that mobile gaming is going to evolve from the "take a few actions and wait a while for your energy to recharge" culture we have now into something much more impressive.
