EA brings us gameplay of a 32 player match in the "Heist" mode of Hardline. The criminals are after loot and need to get it to a specific drop point. The Police are patrolling in their squad cars and can hear status updates over their radios.
While all of the normal battlefield things are in this game, the cops and robbers aspect of it brings in weapons like tazers. Battlefields are no longer warzones that have been demolished by war, but are actual living spaces for people that haven't been completely cleared out.
The Cops can also place robbers under arrest instead of killing them off if they choose to. I couldn't help but laugh when I hear a hardcore military/action voice say "You have the right to remain silent" at the end of the trailer.
