Ubisoft Now Working on Watch Dogs for Wii U
By Jake Doolin
While there is no chance of any Watch Dogs content shortages in the future, many players were upset to find the Wii U would be delayed. Well fear not Nintendo fans, because according an interview with Red Bull, work on the Wii U version of the futuristic open world game has been confirmed. Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin stated that "Right now [the Wii U version is] currently being done, but I'm not directly involved. We wanted to finish all the platforms that we are currently shipping."
Although the wait was long for the Wii U version, Morin was quoted as saying this was to, "...fully focus on the Wii U version, making sure it gets the attention it deserves to make it the best version it can be."
While no release date has been confirmed for the Wii U version, a Uplay Store listed the game for a Fall 2014 release. Watch Dogs comes out for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on May 27.
