It looks like Disney is finally going to start using that Marvel license in this Falls upcoming Disney Infinity: Marvel Supeheroes.
In the debut trailer we see that Nick Fury and the Avengers will be in the game. Characters not shown, but confirmed are Rocket Raccoon, Spiderman, and Groot with more to be announced soon.
The story is being penned by comic book writer Brain Michael Bendis who has worked on Daredevil and Spiderman in the past. The plot will center around Modok and Loki's plans for world domination.
A starter kit will come with figures for Thor, Black Widow, and Iron Man, the Avengers Play Set, and two power discs.
Disney has confirmed that all past figurines will work with this upcoming game, which means we will soon see Mike Wazowski fighting side by side with Iron Man. No release date was given, but Disney has stated the game is going to be out sometime this Fall for the Wii U, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, and iOS.
