Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Getting Special Release for Ten Year Anniversary

This weekend, Rockstar is going to re-release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox 360 and it will be heading to Games on Demand.

San Andreas was removed from the Xbox Originals marketplace in preparation for the newer version. The game will feature 720p resolution, an enhanced draw distance, and new achievements. Those who purchased the title before the re-release won’t have to pay, but the saves will not carry over.

This isn’t the only thing that Rockstar plans to throw out this weekend. They will have an anniversary weekend for GTA Online that will include Double RP and Double GTA$ that can be acquired through jobs that are a throwback to San Andreas. There will also be radio station t-shirts, new bikes, and much more.

GTA: San Andreas will come to Xbox 360’s Games on Demand on October 24.
