Today, actor Robert Downey, Jr. announced that he has no plans for a fourth Iron Man film.
Downey has had a significant impact in the Marvel Universe, from his portrayal of Iron Man to his support of the Black Widow film,
The actor has admitted to being open to do more solo movies, depending on Marvel and Disney’s impending proposal.
"It's down to Kevin [Feighe, Marvel Studios president] and Ike [Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Entertainment] and Disney to come up with what the proposal is, and that's on us to agree or disagree," Downey said.
No matter the destiny of the Iron Man franchise, Downey is set to reprise his role as Tony Stark in next summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the third Avengers film in 2018.
