Nintendo has announced that the company has a "shocking" news announcement coming August 26.
According to a teaser page, the August 26 announcement will be made in collaboration with Famitsu and streamed on Japanese site NicoNico.
The stream will begin August 26 at 9a.m. EST. The Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara and voice actors Nobuhiko Okamoto and Aoi Yuuki and two unannounced special guests will be in attendance.
There's no lead on what the announcement might entail, but the "shocking" pun may indicate a new game featuring Pikachu. What we do know is that the Pokemon Company previously teased a detective game featuring the famous Pokemon. Whatever the announcement is, stay tuned to Byte for updates.
