Xbox One users, get ready for a host of new features coming to your console. The August update of Xbox One goes live starting today. The announcement was made on Major Nelson's blog, which states the update's new features were based on player feedback on the Xbox Forums.
The update includes access to mobile purchases, low battery notifications, 3D Blu-Ray support, the ability to disable notifications, and seeing when your friends were last online. Perhaps the biggest addition though is added sharing features to players feeds. Players can now "like" and comment on newsfeed items as well as seeing what friends are interested in.
More features are set to come in the following months that include social features and an updated TV watching experience.
