And you thought you were never going to hear from your favorite wizarding friends again, eh?
J.K. Rowling has published a new Harry Potter short story on the series fan site Pottermore. The story, told as a gossip column written by Rita Skeeter, details the adult lives of series protagonists Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
From the story, it appears all three worked together in the Ministry of Magic, Ron having left to manage the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes emporium. Harry's wife, Ginny Potter, now acts as a journalist. Hermione, described by Skeeter as the "femme fatale" of the group, works as the deputy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
This is the first story centered on the main characters since Rowling finished the series.
