Next Borderlands Game Set on the Moon

By Jake Doolin
The next entry in the Borderlands saga has been announced, and it seems like players are headed to the moon. Described as a Pre-Sequel, the game will be set on the Hyperion moonbase that was suspended above the player in Borderlands 2.
Info on the four returning characters from Borderlands 2 that will be the new playable characters were also shown.
The first, Athena, is a gladiator type which gives her the ability to absorb damage with her shield and then throw enemies with the force of the damage.

Next is Wilhelm, who is part of the enforcer class. While he starts out as human, the more the player levels him up, the more robotic he becomes.

Not much is know about the third character, Nisha, only that she is part of the lawbringer class.

In terms of story, the only thing confirmed is that the player will be working with Handsome Jack, the villain from the last game, as he attempts to get off the moonbase.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is slated for release this Fall on last-gen consoles along with PC.
