For those of us growing up on the PC there is probably no bigger company that impacted your childhood like Humongous Entertainment. Characters like Freddie Fish, Putt-Putt, and Pajama Sam became staples of the fun and colorful edutainment offered by Humongous. And as someone who loves point and click games, Humongous’ games were my first exposure to the genre.
Well, its time for a nostalgia trip, because over the next few months the entire Humongous catalog will be making its way to Steam. Night Drive Studios, the same company behind the System Shock 2 revival, will be restoring the games, making them compatible with newer systems. The current release schedule is as follows.

Night Drive’s CEO, Stephen Kick, has gone to Reddit and stated that games such as Putt Putt Saves the Zoo and Fatty Bear’s Birthday Surprise will be arriving this August. The most exciting news though is Kick’s hinting at a “rare Pajama Sam game that slipped through the cracks” finally making its way to release.
