Anonymously leaked screenshots obtained by Kotaku reveal the
new Assassins Creed game takes place during the French Revolution, and is
referred to as Assassins Creed: Unity.
The images reveal the new Assassin Arno in front of famous
Parisian landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Seine River and other landmarks as
well as 18th century French architecture.
While the name Unity is
not finalized, the game will be playable on next gen consoles such as PS4 and Xbox
One. A second game is also to be released on those same platforms.
Unity is set to
release later this year, keeping with Ubisoft’s annual fall release of an Assassins
Creed game since the game was first published in 2008.
The screenshots are posted below. It is also worth noting
