Animal Crossing creator Katsuya Eguchi announced at GDC today that Animal Crossing: New Leaf has sold 7.38 million units world wide.
This means the handheld title has sold more then most of it's AAA competitors, such as the Last of Us (6 million units) and Bioshock Infinite (3.7 million)
This is just the latest sales news when it comes to Nintendo's 3DS console. Last Saturday Nintendo announced Bravely Default's positive sales and the 3DS' 15 percent growth in the new year.
