A couple videos came out today for The Order: 1886, an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive. The first is a cinematic trailer with a melodramatic ink spill. The second shows the first glimpse at the game in action.
Gameplay worries me a bit. The movement of characters getting into cover looks rough and robotic. Nothing impressed me aside from the fidelity of the visuals, but pretty graphics never guarantees a good game. The third person cover shooter is a difficult formula to innovate with, which is disappointing given the intriguing alternate-history premise of the game. This is likely footage from an early section of the game, and doesn't feature the game's primary antagonists; half-breed creatures that are half man, half animal.
