The Apex 2015 gaming tournament announced today via Twitter that Nintendo will be sponsoring a special Super Smash Bros. tournament during the event.

Apex 2015 will take place in Secaucus, New Jersey, and will run from January 30 to February 1. The slate of tournaments for the event includes all four console Super Smash Bros. games, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and other fighting games such as Super Street Fighter IV and Killer Instinct.
