Nintendo announced a new Fire Emblem game coming to the 3DS during their Nintendo Direct event.
The new game, which will be the twelfth main entry in the Fire Emblem series is currently untitled and has no release date. It will remain true to the series’ turn-based strategy gameplay, and will feature a new, dynamic story that will be affected by decisions the player makes in game.
A teaser trailer, seen below, was released that shows off some of the visuals and gameplay of the new game.
Fire Emblem 12 is being developed by Intelligent Systems, the same team that has worked previous Fire Emblem games, including the most recent Fire Emblem: Awakening. Kozaki Yusuke will be leading character design, with a story by novelist Shin Kibayashi.
