Scott Cawthon, developer of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, has teased another installment in the horror series.
Cawthon uploaded the following image, titled “fnaf3.jpg’ to his website ScottGames. As of now, Cawthon is not taking or answering any questions about the game. He also has a reminder on his website that reads, “I do not have a twitter or twitch account and do not reply to personal emails. Only believe information from Scottgames.com,” warning fans of fake accounts.
While no new information has been released concerning this sequel, it can be assumed that Five Night’s at Freddy’s 3 will be set in new Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria, as well as introduce new animatronic enemies and mechanics.
There is currently no release date set.
