Twitch is adding to its resume after the acquisition of "GoodGame"
According to the source and the following tweet by Geoff Robinson . Twitch has purchased the E-Sports organization.

GoodGame is an E-Sports/Marketing agency representing a number of E-Sports teams like EG and Alliance in a number of different E-Sports games.Alex Garfield, CEO of GoodGame, wrote a blog post shortly after the purchase was made official saying that the terms of the deal aren't the reason he sold, but that he saw Twitch providing GoodGame with more tools and ways to enhance what they do already for both fans and the teams they represent. No one knows why the purchase was made, nor what Twitch will do in the future with the E-Sports organization, but the news definitely turned some eyebrows in the industry and it will be exciting to see what will be done in the future.
