Information about the next Assassin’s Creed game was leaked. The setting will be London in the 1800s and the working title is Assassin’s Creed Victory. It will be released on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
This game will be led by Ubisoft’s Quebec studio. The past main titles to the series have been headed by their Montreal studio. The Quebec studio has made DLC for some of the other main titles.
The release date is set for Fall 2015 and is set to only be the only one unlike the past dual release.
The leaked footage shows off a new grappling hook feature as well as the usual sneaking, fighting, and the assassination plot.
After the leak, Ubsoft released a statement about their disappointment of what happened.
“It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we're excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin's Creed Unity for players.”
Nothing else about the game is known at this time.
