Minecraft is getting the Telltale treatment and getting an episodic game series.
Mojang will be working with Telltale Studios, the studio behind hits like The Walking Dead, and recently Tales of the Borderlands and Game of Thrones, to create a narrative in the world of Minecraft.
A blog post made by Mojang states that the game won't be creating an official story for Steve, the main "character" of Minecraft. It will just be a "cool game."
The blog post also states that the developers will also work with the community to create a game that is "as Minecrafty as possible."
The game is slated for release in 2015 for Xbox and Playstation consoles as well as PC, Mac, iOS and Android-based devices.
