Day of the Tentacle is getting remastered for a whole new generation.
Not too many details have been released about one of the greatest adventure games created, but it will be called Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition.
Originally released in 1993, Day of the Tentacle was a point-and-click adventure game based after the events of the game’s predecessor, Maniac Mansion. In the game, a mutat monster named Purple Tentacle drinks some toxic sludge that, after mutating and developing intelligence, decides to take over the world. The story involves time travel to send the characters of the game through time to stop Purple Tentacle
When it releases, Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition will be available to PC and Playstation 4.
