Telltale Games has announced on which house the story of their upcoming Game of Thrones will focus. Players will follow the narrative of House Forrester, a noble house from Wolfswood located north of Westeros. House Forrester is Bannermen to House Glover and a loyal oath to the Starks.
The game will take begin near the end of season three of the HBO show and end right before the story of season 5.
The game will be played from five different points of view, each a member of House Forrester or server to House Forrester. Players will be able to visit familiar locations like King’s Landing and The Wall.
Telltale explained that the characters will be widely scattered across Westeros and Essos and each will play their part to keep the Forresters from collapsing. The actions of one character can even cause a ripple effect and impact on the rest of the House.
Although the House Forrester has not yet made an appearance in the HBO series, House Forrester does appear in the book, A Dance with Dragons, so any Game of Thrones fans that have read the series should be familiar with Ironrath and House Forrester.
The first episode will be soon be available to download on PC and Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and iOS.
