New details about the live action Attack on Titan have emerged from Japan today.
A cast list for the main characters was released. Of the series “main three,” Haruma Miura will be playing Eren Jager, Kiko Mizuhara will be playing Mikasa Ackerman, and Kanata Hongo will be playing Armin Arlet. Other main characters will also make the transition to the big screen alongside additional characters separate from both the anime and manga.
The live action rendition of Attack on Titan will actually span a two movie series. Both will be directed by Shinji Higuchi and written by Yuusuke Watanabe, recently notable for his screenplay for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
As of now, both films are looking to release sometime next summer.
