Call of Duty Online Beta Scheduled for Next Year

by Carmen Schwierking

In early 2015, developer Activision plans to launch the beta for Call of Duty Online.

The beta will be unlimited and include some virtual items for sale in China. The game will be for PC and be a free-to-play style that is specifically designed for the Chinese gaming market. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said that it would help the company open doors to its “potential largest player base.”

Footage from Call of Duty Online was first found two years ago but not much news about the title has come since then.
