Sources for IMDB have confirmed the casting decision for Marvel and Netflix's upcoming Daredevil series.
Actor Charlie Cox, known for a supporting role in HBO's Boardwalk Empire, has been cast as Daredevil AKA blind attorney Matt Murdock. Cox is the first casting announcement for the series based on the popular comic book series.
Drew Goddard, executive producer and writer on series like Lost, Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and films Cabin in the Woods and World War Z.
Nerd credentials seem to be in order. Boardwalk obviously has its fanbase, and despite some entries like World War Z, Goddard seems to have a grasp on intelligent writing and producing. What are your thoughts, fellow geeks?
