According to a post on the Battlelog forum, the next entry in the Battlefield series will be called Battlefield: Hardline. The game will be centered around a cops and robbers style narrative that puts players in control of the police or criminal avatars. Battlefield Daily has also gathered bits of information about the game, uncovering in-game awards from an EA server.
Perhaps the biggest news though is that this newest Battlefield game will be the first not be made by series developer DICE. Instead Visceral Game (Dead Space) will head the project with EA once again as publisher. With E3 only a week away, it's possible we might see a full reveal at EA's press conference.
