Just last month Sony Pictures announced plans to partner with Ubisoft on a adaptation of the upcoming Watch Dogs game. Well now that film has scriptwriters in Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, writers of the film Zombieland along with the current Deadpool comics. The story for the film seems to go beat for beat for the narrative of the game as it follows hacker Aiden Pearce as he makes his way though the underbelly of a futuristic Chicago.
This is the third film that is coming out under the partnership between Sony Pictures and Ubisoft, with Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed films already in production.
