The popular zombie game DayZ, which came out for early access about 13 months ago, has sold 3 million copies for PC, despite the game still being in development.
The developers, Bohemia Interactive, announced they are re-writing the core engine from DayZ and hope to enhance the performance and effects for the players. With their team being at over 80 people now, updates will increase and tempo of development will increase.
The developers are currently planning on releasing the game fully in 2016 with a future release on the Playstation 4.
