The Reason Why Zelda and Sheik Are On Their Own in Smash for the 3DS

By Austin Miller

Are you one of the people that are confused as to why Zelda and Sheik are separate characters in the new Super Smash Brothers game for the 3DS?

Sakurai, director the Smash Bros series, said in an interview in the Famitsu magazine, that it’s the 3DS’s limitations that make it impossible to have the characters together. The same issue also comes into play with Samus and Zerosuit Samus.

He believes this makes the transforming characters fresher since they had the drawbacks of having to change. Some are upset about this though because they think it’s unfair that 3DS brings down the Wii U version.

Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS is now out for North America and Europe.
