Nintendo has graced us with a few more details on the upcoming Super Smash Bros for the Wii U with a new Nintendo Direct event today. Unique features were confirmed for the Wii U version the game, including a five, six, seven, and even eight player smash mode for certain stages.
New sages were shown off including Palutena's Temple, Kalos Pokemon League, and The Great Cave Offensive from the upcoming Captain Toad game.
Fans eager to see a possible Ridley confirmation were given a mixed bag. Samus' foe won't be playable, but it will make an appearance as a Stage Boss and will fight alongside players who attack it first. Ridley will also take on it's Meta Ridley form if it consumes enough energy while it's in play.
The biggest announcement was saved for last though, as Mewtwo was shown to be a DLC character. Players who but both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game will receive Mewtwo sometime in Spring 2015.
Super Smash Bros for the Wii U will be out on November 21.
