Pokemon trainers can snag a free
shiny Gengar from GameStop for Pokemon
X/Y until Oct. 26. Players can pick up a code from
GameStop stores in order to receive the Pokemon. The Gengar will also be
holding a Gengarite Stone, the item which allows it to evolve.
That’s not the
only trick up its sleeve though, as it will also know the move Sludge Wave, an
attack it cannot normally learn. Following the Gengar event, GameStop
will be holding an event from Oct. 27 to Nov. 16 for the formerly unobtainable
Diancie, a Rock/Fairy type pokemon.
Diancie has the ability to mega evolve, but
the required item, Diancite Stone, will only be availible in Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sappire.
