The third
free content update for EA Sport UFC
has been released. This update
includes two new fighters. UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy and UFC welterweight
Gunnar Nelson have been added to the game.
Previous
UFC welterweight Nick Diaz is now added to the middleweight division in
preparation for Diaz’s upcoming fight against Anderson Silva at UFC 183 on
January 31. Gameplay
enhancements have also been made available with the new update. Players can
now attempt a guillotine choke while being taken down. This move is only
available to fighters that can attempt a guillotine choke from the full guard
position.
Fights can
now finish while running down your opponent while they are hurt. Once you hurt
your opponent you can now chase your opponent across the cage with a flurry of
punches in hopes to finish the fight. More
variety in moves have been added with the update. Takedowns will now have more
variety on whether you will land in your opponents full or half guard. Players
can also now slip opponents strikes for a longer period of time.
The last
thing added to the game is new animations. These animations include players
showing more fatigue in their strikes while they are hurt or tired.
EA Sports UFC is available for the
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
