Surprising news out of Hollywood today as it was announced that the popular game series Tetris is becoming a movie. The film is being produced by Threshold Entertainment chairman Larry Kasanoff and executive
producer Jimmy Ienner. Threshold studio previously produced the Mortal
Combat movies, television series, and stage production.
The
movie is going to be an “epic sci-fi adventure,” says Kasanoff. "In this
new universe, as you'll soon find out, there's much more to Tetris than simply
clearing lines," said Henk Rogers, managing director of The Tetris
Company.
No
release date, cast, or director have been announced for the film.
