With Guardians of the Galaxy raking in over $11 million on opening night alone, the Marvel film universe is certainly asunder with praise and profit. Now, coming off of Guardian's initial success is the debut of footage first seen at Comic Con featuring the Marvel heroes' exploits throughout the course of the last ten films.
Most notably, Thanos is seen outside of his initial tease at the end of Avengers. It's only for a few seconds, but finally seeing Josh Brolin's character in the purple flesh/CGI/mix of the two is just plain awesome.
Thanos is the adoptive father of Guardians character Gamora and Nebula, played by Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillian respectively. He's often seen in Marvel comics attempting to court the embodiment of death by murdering multiple galaxies at any given time.
