Pokémon turns 20 soon, and it's time to celebrate.
Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, an orchestral series being produced by Jeron Moore and Chad Seiter (producers of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess tour) will go on tour this year starting in Washington DC and Philadelphia this fall.
According to an announcement on the Pokémon website, "Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will showcase memorable music, featuring all-new musical arrangements that will entertain not just Pokémon fans but all music lovers. Look forward to a wonderful symphonic experience that covers nearly 20 years of Pokémon entertainment around the world."
According to Anime News Network, music from all main-series games will be covered.
If the series is anywhere near as good as Symphony of the Goddess was said to be, then fans have a nice treat awaiting them. With any luck they'll make a stop here in Indiana.
