In an interview with Kotaku last week at E3, Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma said that the Wii U Legend of Zelda game won't have bothersome tutorials, a complaint that was common in Skyward Sword.
"When we created Skyward Sword, I really felt the need to make sure that everyone playing the game understood it," he said. "But I understand now, in hindsight, that when you go out and buy a game, you buy a game because you want to play it, and you don't want to have any obstacles in the way. And I guess it [the tutorials] was received as a bit of an obstacle."
It's definitely assuring that Aonuma listens to the fans when it comes to his development. Now we just need to hope that the next game in the series doesn't have the extremely on-point motion control.
