Neversoft, developers of the
Tony Hawk: Pro Skater games, have announced plans to merge with
Call of Duty maker Infinity Ward. The two studios had previously worked on
Call of Duty: Ghosts and have worked closely since on DLC.
This new studio will retain the name Infinity Ward and will be headed by Dave Stohl, VP of worldwide studios for Activision. No games were announced with the merger, but it is expected that Neversoft will continue its work on the
Call of Duty series for the time being.
