In
a press release today, EA announced the inclusion of Bruce Lee in their
upcoming UFC game. Players can pre-order the game today to get instant
access to the Lee character, or they can complete the game's career
mode to unlock him. Lee can be used in four different weight classes
across the games modes.
EA’s creative director, Brian Hayes, was quoted
in the release stating:
“It has always been part of our vision to have Bruce Lee, the most iconic martial artist of all time, in the first ever EA SPORTS UFC. “The team is very excited and tremendously honored to have the privilege of bringing Bruce Lee to life in our game. We’ve been working closely with the Bruce Lee team to ensure we represent the legend with as much visual and gameplay fidelity as possible.”
Players
will get their first chance to play as Lee when the game releases on
June 17. Below is a new trailer for the game, including the new Bruce
Lee character.
