In an announcement at Dengeki Game Festival 2014, it was revealed that a new Durarara!! television series is in the works. It will take place a half year after the first series in the same setting of Ikebukuro in Tokyo.
According to Anime News Network, the original staff is reuniting for the series, but Brains Base is not credited.
A broadcast date has not yet been announced.
