PS Vita Slim Announced for US
by Joseph Knoop
Sony has announced via their official blog that the PS Vita Slim will be coming to U.S. markets in the form of a Borderlands 2 bundle this Spring.
The latest PS Vita model is reportedly 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than the original model. The Slim comes with 1GB of built-in internal memory and a 5-inch LCD touchscreen.
The Borderlands 2 pack will assuage some of the storage space concerns by packing in an 8GB memory card, as well as a slightly extended battery life.
Fans of the popular shooter series will also be glad to hear that the bundle comes with six DLC packs, including story-based "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty," "Mr. Torque's Campaign of Carnage," character class expansions and the Collector's Edition Pack.
The PS Vita Slim also features as one of the many devices you'll be able to play Playstation Now on later this year.
